(Malus 'Triumph')
"A triumph over apple scab!" Triumph is a recent introduction from the University of Minnesota! This selection has great disease tolerance, a flavorful apple, and long storage life. This apple is tart and well balanced and great for fresh eating or cooking. Triumph blooms midseason and will do best with another mid-season apple or crabapple tree to pollinate with. For example, Honeycrisp, Freedom, SnowSweet, Zestar, or McIntosh. Triumph produces a large red apple that ripens in late September.
